Makes 2-3 servings

Ingredients

  • 4-6 red peppers
  • 1 tablespoon dried Italian herbs or Za'atar
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • sea salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Wash peppers, take ends and white bits out and cut into medium sized slices.
  2. Heat up a pan on medium heat up. 
  3. Put 2 tablespoons of olive oil and fry the peppers.
  4. Add herbs and season with sea salt und pepper to taste.
  5. Fry until the skin of the peppers are dark about 5-8 minutes each side.
  6. Place on a plate to cool and peel off the "burnt" skin in necessary.
  7. Enjoy as light starter or side dish.
