Makes 2-3 servings
Ingredients
- 4-6 red peppers
- 1 tablespoon dried Italian herbs or Za'atar
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- sea salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Wash peppers, take ends and white bits out and cut into medium sized slices.
- Heat up a pan on medium heat up.
- Put 2 tablespoons of olive oil and fry the peppers.
- Add herbs and season with sea salt und pepper to taste.
- Fry until the skin of the peppers are dark about 5-8 minutes each side.
- Place on a plate to cool and peel off the "burnt" skin in necessary.
- Enjoy as light starter or side dish.
